During my interview, I shared the following top things that you need to know about personal branding:

  • When it comes to branding, CONSISTENCY is the key.
  • An effective and powerful personal brand means an even greater reach for your business. Consistency is key when it comes to growing your personal brand. This will allow you to sand apart from the noise and compete in your given industry.
  • Identify your target market and ideal clients and find out how to reach them in a way that leaves an impact on them.
  • Establish your niche so that you can focus on who really is your target market.
  • Your unique combination of skills that make you who you are is what defines your brand. Make a list of all the things that you do great and the value that you bring to the table when working with your clients. This is your brand proposition.
  • Content is king and having the right mix of content is an essential part of your marketing strategy. Getting the right content to your audience starts with identifying what their needs, frustrations, and challenges are and answering them with the content that you provide.
  • Be authentic. You cannot force authenticity. You are simply authentic, or you’re not. Being authentic is when your words and actions align. Be yourself, nobody can be you but you, and that is your superpower!

Branding is an important key and is essential if we are to keep up with the changing times and grow sustainable businesses.
